OUR STORY
Two years ago, God placed a burden on our leadership’s hearts for those incarcerated. He opened doors for us to connect with the Billy Moore Correctional Center’s chaplain and leadership, giving us favor to begin ministry inside the prison. What started as monthly services, basketball outreach, and discipleship classes quickly grew—and we witnessed men surrendering their lives to Christ every week!
On February 16th, we officially launched our New Beginnings Billy Moore Campus.
Today, we gather every Sunday for weekly worship services and New Beginnings Life Groups. Throughout the week, our volunteers lead new believer classes and discipleship programs. There are many ways for our church family to serve at Billy Moore—from writing Letters of Hope, serving as decision encouragers, to hosting tables that facilitate Gospel Conversations.
Inside the prison, God is building His church. Inmates are participating in Life Groups, following New Beginnings daily Bible reading plan, fasting and praying for Sunday services, and even leading us in worship.
how you can be apart
God is moving powerfully at our Billy Moore Campus, and you can be part of what He’s doing. There are several ways to serve:
- Letters of Hope – Encourage and uplift inmates through personal, Christ-centered letters.
- Decision Encourager – Walk alongside men as they take their next steps in faith.
- Table Hosts – Facilitate Gospel Conversations that point others to Jesus.
We need more male volunteers to serve and care for these men in all of these areas and more. If you feel called to be part of what God is doing at Billy Moore, this is your invitation to get plugged in.
