SEEK1 VISION
FROM PASTOR TODD
Seek the 1 who is worthy of it all. The 1 who has gone before us and given at great cost. One of the most important things the gospel compels us to is generosity. Jesus did not withhold generosity at the cross and we respond by not withholding from Him. He was first, He went first, and all things are by Him, for Him, through Him and to Him (Romans 11:36).
Take this in, before there was anything to be “before,” God was.
In a world of hurry and hustle, Jesus gives us a holy reordering in Matthew 6:33. You see, when we make God’s presence and priorities our pursuit – above success, security, or stuff – everything else falls into place. But when we chase after “all these things” first, we find ourselves anxious, empty, and always in need. Seeking first means we trust His ways before we see results and we give Him our time, our attention, our worship, and yes, our resources.
Church family, let this be a season we shift from self-preservation to Kingdom participation. We don’t give because we have excess, we give because He’s first. We invest in what matters most: people, eternity, the gospel moving forward. Seek Him first in your schedule, in your spending, in your serving. Watch what happens when obedience comes before abundance. Let us be marked by a holy hunger, open hands of surrender, and a heart that says: “Your Kingdom first, always.”
I urge you to consider what it really means to seek first God alone. Is he the 1 thing that drives all other things in your life? It will require you to sacrifice time, comfort, resources, certainty and other “life as usual” things to invest in eternal things that never fade.
There is only 1 name under heaven by which we are saved. I don’t know about you, but I want to give my entire life to serve that name!
Join me in acknowledging that Jesus is first.

Pastor Todd Kaunitz

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
Matthew 6:33
PRIMARY GOAL - 100% PARTICIPATION
OUR DESIRE IS TO SEE 100% of those who call New Beginnings home TAKING significant next steps in deepening their relationship with Christ - TO go deeper, surrender more, and walk in the kind of obedience that makes heaven rejoice and hell tremble.
SECONDARY GOAL
WE ARE BELIEVING FOR $21 MILLION to accomplish three gospel-centered initiatives OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS that will echo into eternity.
SEEK1 INITIATIVES
seek 1 discipleship journey
Commitment Worksheet and Gift Chart
The primary goal of Seek 1 is that every one of us would ask ourselves, “Am I giving my all to the One who gave His all for me or are there areas of my life that still aren't fully surrendered?" As we step into this first year of our Seek 1 discipleship journey, we are excited about the opportunity and the challenge to begin examining what it means to give our all to Him—especially through our generosity. To help us take this step, we are providing a commitment card.
