OUR MISSION

At New Beginnings, we respond to God’s call in James 1:27 by embracing the needs of vulnerable children and families in crisis. Through our Foster and Adoption Ministry, we walk alongside those who are fostering, pursuing adoption, or working toward family reunification. Whether supporting children in care, birth families, or forever families, we believe every story matters and every step deserves to be covered in the love, presence, and restoring power of Jesus.

EMBRACING CHILDREN IN NEED

by partnering with Child Placement Agencies and multiple orgaizations to help children find loving, caring homes while in foster care. We want them to know that God sees them and cares for them.

EMBRACING FAMILIES IN CRISIS

by partnering with DFPS and their FBSS division to help families in crisis in hopes of keeping their families intact. For those parents whose children are in foster care and they are working their service plan, we offer Biological parents, court approved, parenting classes that are Biblically based, so that their children are returning to a different home if they can be reunified.

Respite Nights

Whether you're a foster, adoptive, kinship, or bio parent, we know how much you pour into your kids—and we’re here to support you. Respite Nights are designed just for you! We provide dinner and a full lineup of fun, age-appropriate activities for children from birth through junior high (and we’re happy to make arrangements for older kids, too). While they’re having a blast, you get a few hours to rest, recharge, and take a deep breath. You deserve it.

Connected Families

Discipline That Connects is a one-night class designed to help you move beyond behavior modification and toward true heart change in your parenting. Hosted regularly on our Longview Campus, this class offers practical, grace-based tools from Connected Families to help you parent with wisdom, connection, and purpose. Childcare is available for children birth through 5th grade—just be sure to feed everyone beforehand!

Foster Crew

We believe not everyone is called to foster or adopt—but everyone can do something to support the families who do. That’s where the Foster Crew comes in. Our Foster Crew is a team of caring individuals who walk alongside Foster, Adoptive, and Kinship families by serving in practical, tangible ways. Whether you're great at organizing, love to cook, or just want to pray—there’s a place for you. Our families need you—and we’re confident there’s a spot just right for you!
